We have now signed off our kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and stairs cabinetry drawings.

There was a slight delay because we've changed the kitchen sink and bathrooms basins.

Next up should be draft end panel, so we should be close to site start now.

Final Electrical and Landscaping Plans, CDC Approved

Since our initial electrical appointment, we have added a few more things to the plans. As it's a bit hard to do this after handover, we had to do it now.

- 5 x Data points to outside of the house for future security cameras
- Power point inside all bathrooms cupboard linking back to light switch, for future under cupboard LED light strips
- We'll be adding a pendant in the foyer
- Power point to niche outside HT with HDMI run from ground linen and rumpus to this point, for future security TV monitor and HDMI splitting from rumpus
- Added boring LED side lights for stairs (we wanted LED light strip but Wisdom and Designer Stairs won't do it)

Our landscaping plans was also slightly changed, to get approval from CDC we had to move the house back by 0.5m.

Bigger front yard but a smaller back yard, we was tiny in the first place. Not what we want but not much we can do.

With that we're CDC approved. Hopefully build should start in about 4-6 weeks.

Landscaping Plans...

Our revised landscaping plans has arrived. We wanted a wall added to the alfresco area for a future BBQ / outdoor kitchen area.

Looks pretty good I must say.

Contract has been signed and the rest of the 5% deposit has been paid.

Next up was electrical, We've decided to get down lights provisioning and install it afterwards.

Air-conditioning Upgrade

We have decided to upgrade the default Actron Air Classic ducted system to the Actron Air ESP Plus.

The upgrade will give us 4 zones and 15 outlets and we'll be adding an extra 4 zones to make it 8 in total.

We'd like to be able to only run the area which we're using, so zoning off each rooms was decided.

The total for the upgrade is $7230 and we'll get;

Drawings and Site Plans

We've finally received the drawings, shame there's some things on there which we'll need to sort out first before progressing.

As WH are closing soon, looks like we'll need to wait till new year to discuss this with them.

- Master en-suite shower should not have a door
- Change master en-suite wall between shower and spa tub to glass
- Redesign en-suite 3 so the door opens inwards instead of outwards
- Find a solution to home theatre podium and door issue. WH say because of the doors, max width they can do the podium is 1600mm, I need at least 2000mm.
- Add more windows to master

Those are the main things which stands out right now. Will have a closer look over the break.

Now for the plans and drawings.

Slight Change of Tiles

We have decided to change the tiles in our powder room, laundry and main flooring.

Originally we were planning on doing the main flooring after handover, but after finding a tile that we like and wasn't too expensive, we will now do it with DiLorenzo. Less hassle after handover.
